I like a few things about this product like that is is think and easy and comfortable to hold. The color is a beautiful deep blue. The packaging is lovely. It feels very high end. The tea I drank stayed hot for a long time just like it promises.

The things I didn't like as much are that when you take the lid off to drink and put the lid back on afterwards the tea or condensation that is inside the lid drips down the outside of the container.

Also the loose leaf tea holder has to be taken out and put somewhere each time you drink your tea or set in a cup somewhere waiting to be put back into the thermoses after you are done drinking your tea. Not ideal for traveling.

It's difficult to get a cup of tea on the road. Even with special instructions, it is apt to be iced with lots of sugar, especially in the south. So, it's good to have this tea thermos. It holds two cups of tea. It is supposed to keep tea warm for 18 hours. It doesn't. I tried some tea 15 hrs in, and it was cold. That's not necessarily going to matter. Usually a few hours into a long drive, I'm ready for some tea. I can't open this container without stopping. I need my own cup. I can handle these issues. I haven't tried the expensive iLola tea discs. One regular tea bag is fine. There is a container to hold it at the top. Pour the water through the bag, cover and let it steep a few minutes, then open and pull out the bag. You need twezzers or a fork to get the metal container out without burning your fingers. I've also used loose tea in the container. It's hard to get the container out after steeping without losing some of the leaves, but not that many. Since the container is at the top of the thermos, you need to fill the thermos completely to get the tea to steep.

If you want to keep your tea hot while traveling, this will not disappoint. In fact, I usually leave the lid off for a while when I’m about ready to enjoy my tea. The outside has a velvety feel to it which is both pleasing and offers grip. The lid twists on and off smoothly and seals perfectly (it hasn’t leaked once even when it’s fallen over in my bag). The mesh insert (strainer) clicks into place and doesn’t budge while drinking. This bottle is made to be used with tea discs which are extremely convenient when traveling. However, I’ve mostly been using it with loose tea - it works perfectly! The quality of this thermos is impressive, and I’m confident I’ll be enjoying it for years to come.
