The old way

Tea deserved better than a tin.

For generations, tea has been stored in tins, boxes and cupboards. Loose leaf or tea bag, the format changed. The thinking around storage barely did.

Then we put it in a bag, and hid the bag in a box.

Then we reimagined the tea itself.

When we changed the tea,
we had to change its home.

01 — The chamber

A chamber, not a container.

Designed to house Tea Discs, and to block light and air. A hygrometer set into the lid monitors the humidity inside, so you can read the chamber without opening it.

02 — The Tea Boat

A new form of tea needed a new way to hold it.

The Tea Boat was designed around the Tea Disc itself. It slides out to choose from, and slides back into the Humidor. Each one is dedicated to a single tea.

03 — The system

Tea Disc. Tea Boat. Humidor.

Designed around one another.

We could have stopped there.

But preservation wasn't enough.

The Essence

We made storage part of the flavour story.

The Humidor's activating Essence is flavoured to reinforce the tea resting inside. A few drops every other week activate the chamber. Then let the tea rest.
